I write for me. To remember, to revisit, to get inspired, and to contribute. My writing consists of notes I wish someone had given to my younger self.
“All advice is self-advice.”
The goal with AlexNotes.org is to turn it into my commonplace book. A resource where you can find timeless ideas & concepts on life distilled into memorable notes.
Why post?
- To chop wood, and carry water.
- To improve my writing, so I can improve my thinking.
- To kill my perfectionist who sabotaged me many times.
- To dig past the bad ideas in order to get to the good ideas.
- To get used to shipping not when it’s ready but when it’s tomorrow.

I’m writing in public.
It’s similar to developers compiling their code to check if it works. If you’ve found my writing useful, let me know.
